The Brand

From the jump, PINA was all about capturing the fiesta spirit. We designed the visual identity to reflect the lively, cultural heartbeat of Mexico—infused with a modern twist.

The logomark, built around a stylized agave plant and hummingbirds, anchors the brand in its roots while keeping things light and adventurous.

Color was our playground. Each flavor has its own palette that reflects the drink’s personality—from the spicy, juicy orange of the Mangonada to the crisp, zesty green of the Sour. Layered with playful illustrations and a splash of nostalgia, the typography nods to classic Mexican signage while feeling unmistakably new.

Each can is designed to stand out on the shelf—and on social media. Metallic inks, full-color wraps, and quirky iconography bring personality to every variant. The Mangonada in particular features warm tones and citrus slices with a flavor-forward focus, while the Water and Sour options lean into cool, clean minimalism with just enough edge.

PINA was our chance to blend playful design with authentic storytelling. It’s a celebration in a can, and the branding reflects that—bold, memorable, and full of flavor. Salud.

This branding had bite. Every element felt intentional, yet effortlessly cool—from the cheeky color combos to the nostalgic typography. It’s not just pretty packaging—it’s storytelling that sells. Everyone who sees it wants to know where they can buy it. Mission accomplished.
