There are many good reasons to start a business, even in a weak economy. Yes, that’s right, this is a great time to start a business.

Perfect is great… but most times, good is good enough.
Don’t let perfection be the thing that stops you from ever launching that great business of yours. For example, if you want to enter the catering business, you don’t have to start with a full brick n mortar kitchen or restaurant. You can start small, first by just baking and cooking for friends and family to get early reviews, tips, and a buzz going. Then you can widen out to actually selling it to more and more people and create a consumer base before taking it even further to the next step.
The point is that often times, there is never a perfect time, or a perfect set of conditions to starting your business. If you keep waiting for that right moment, it may never come. You have to stop thinking about one big moment and start planning many little moments that all add up to the big picture.
So if you’ve been sitting on that business idea of yours, don’t keep waiting. Think of what little step you can take now to use as a first step to creating that final vision you have.
